This Privacy Policy describes how Halter Technical LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use WildTrax (macOS application), WildTrax A2 (iOS application), and our related web services (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Important: WildTrax A2 (iOS App) Does Not Collect Data
WildTrax A2 for iOS does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. The iOS app operates entirely on your device and does not require account creation, sign-in, or internet connectivity for its core functionality. The iOS app does not include analytics, tracking, or third-party data collection SDKs.
The data collection practices described below apply only to WildTrax for macOS and our web-based account management system.
1. Information We Collect (WildTrax macOS & Web Services Only)
Account Information
When you create an account for WildTrax (macOS), we collect your email address. Authentication is handled by Google Firebase Authentication, which may store your email, a unique user identifier, and authentication tokens. This does not apply to WildTrax A2 (iOS), which does not have account functionality.
Device Information
To manage software license assignments for WildTrax (macOS), we collect a hardware identifier for each device you register with your account. We store up to three device identifiers per user to enforce license terms. We do not collect device model, operating system version, or other device telemetry. WildTrax A2 (iOS) does not collect or transmit device identifiers.
Payment Information
If you purchase a subscription through our website, payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your credit card number or full payment details on our servers. Stripe may collect and store payment information in accordance with their own privacy policy. We receive and store only your Stripe customer identifier to link your subscription to your account.
Usage Information
We do not collect analytics, usage telemetry, crash reports, or location data through any of our applications. Neither WildTrax (macOS) nor WildTrax A2 (iOS) track your activity or behavior.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Account management — to create and maintain your user account.
- License enforcement — to associate your subscription with your registered devices.
- Payment processing — to manage subscriptions and billing through Stripe.
- Customer support — to respond to your inquiries and provide assistance.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the Services:
- Google Firebase Authentication — for user account creation and sign-in. Firebase processes your email address and authentication credentials. See Firebase Privacy.
- Stripe, Inc. — for subscription billing and payment processing. Stripe processes your payment method and billing details. See Stripe Privacy Policy.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any other third parties, except as required by law.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your account and device information is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls. However, no method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account information and device identifiers for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request data deletion, we will remove your personal information from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes or enforcing our agreements).
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data — you can view your account information and registered devices through your account dashboard.
- Delete your personal data — you can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us.
- Correct your personal data — you can update your account information through the Services or by contacting us.
- Remove devices — you can unregister devices from your account at any time through your account dashboard.

The Services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
